Just a few of the ways you can help

How to get started

Complete our volunteer application form and email it to volunteer@kanatafoodcupboard.ca

We will reach out to you when we can match you with an opportunity that aligns with your unique skills and availability.

Please note

  1. Spaces may be limited depending on the activity, time of year, and number of current volunteers.

  2. All volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent.

  3. All volunteers must sign a confidentiality/safety/release and waiver form before beginning to volunteer with us. Volunteers under the age of 18 must also have one of their parents sign the document.

  4. Casual attire (e.g., jeans, t-shirts, etc.) and closed-toe shoes with closed heel and firm-grip soles required. Steel toe boots/shoes recommended. No sandals please.

Volunteer recognition

In every hamper packed, every delivery made, every family served, and every smile shared, our volunteers make a difference in the lives of Kanata Families. Every year, we recognize volunteers who go above and beyond to support the Kanata Food Cupboard and the Kanata community.
