How You Can Help
Non- perishable food
The following grocers have donation crates with our signage at the entrance/exit areas:
Great Canadian Super Store (Eagleson Road) Laura’s Your Independent Grocer (Hazeldean Mall) Sobey’s ( Terry Fox at Hazeldean Road) Food Basics (Hearst Road near Katimavik) Loblaws (Kanata Centrum) Metro (March Road at Carling Ave)
Drop off at the Kanata Food Cupboard, 20 Young Road, between 9 am and noon Monday to Friday.
Host a food drive. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to let us know of your event and any support you need (i.e. posters, requested food items list*, drop off or pick up times, etc.)

Perishable Food
Please contact us to ensure we have the capacity to refrigerate or freeze perishables at the time of your donation. We have some refrigeration available, but space varies throughout the year.
Cash, Cheques, and VISA
Please deliver (between 9 and noon Monday to Friday) or mail cash, cheques, or VISA* donations to:

*The attached form may be used to indicate charitable receipt preferences and to note your card details.
Canada Helps allows you to donate online! Click on the "donate now" image on any page of this website. The Kanata Food Cupboard issues tax receipts for donations of $20.00 or more.

Tell us about events Let us know about your event in support of the Kanata Food Cupboard and we will advertise it here. Send an email to the Volunteer Coordinator.
Making Contributions Contributions of food are most welcome, and one easy way is to leave non-perishable food in the food bins in your local Kanata Grocery store.
