Why donate money?

The Kanata Food Cupboard welcomes monetary donations to help purchase foods in short supply. Since many suppliers sell to the Food Cupboard at cost we are able to stretch your donated dollars further.

We offer several convenient ways to donate: online (credit card or PayPal), cheque, cash or Visa. The online method also allows you to set up a monthly donation using your credit card.

The Kanata Food Cupboard issues tax receipts for donations of $20.00 or more. Our charitable organization registration number is 118977529RR0001.

If you are donating by cheque or cash, you may use our donation form to indicate charitable receipt preferences. The same form may also be used to donate directly using a Visa card, if you do not wish to use our secure online payment method.

Cash, cheques and credit card donations can be made in person during our office hours (normally 9am-noon), but please contact us first to make sure someone will be available to accept your donation.
